Groin, Knee and Pain

Last week was great in terms of working out. I managed to get my 70km of running and about 5 hours of yoga. There are some areas of concern that worries me these days while I run. I am able to feel the stress on my groin and my left knee. For the left knee, I might have to do circuits twice a week and I am sure the pain will disappear. The pain in the groin needs tons of stretching and strengthening of the inner thigh and really a lot of patience. The running season is here and I am just hoping that I don’t miss out any of the runs this year. This year can aptly be named as the “year of injuries”.

My runs this week were mainly in Indiranagar and the sunday run happened in Cubbon park with Pankaj, Vishy and Meher. The goal of the sunday run is to run slow and long with the objective to recover from the intense weekday runs.

My trip to Salem to meet my cousins was just fantastic. It was good to catch up and get a few laughs. I was amazed by how talented and driven my kid cousins were and I hope that they continue to go through life with the same level of enthusiasm.
