Smiles, Seperation & 5ks

Love for me is when upon seperation, you feel like a part of your legs have been severed from your body. Its a terrible feeling of helplessness and you feel ancy to do something about it. However, there is really nothing that you do about some situations and seperation is one such thing like that.

This morning was spent playing ultimate frisbee with a bunch of folks. Unlike the Chennai ultimate frisbee group, the Bangalore group is really really laid back and they play for fun rather than competition. I think this makes a game like ultimate frisbee more fun for me since there is no pressure to perform - no expectations absolutely and everybody has fun.

I did a 5k run last morning with Manjari and Vivek. It was good fun to run with these guys because you don't realize the distance at all. Infact, you are left hoping that you can run some more. I could have run a little more but I decided to take it easy because of the knee. I'll be spending the next three days just strengthening my damn quads.

The next two months is going to be a test for everything - work, relationships and running. Ofcourse, I want to get back to a full fledged schedule when it comes to running but I think it might be hard considering the knee situation. The relationship thing is going to be a challenge but I am going to put some effort in this simply because the girl keeps me smiling.
