Potato fry, black knight and a mug of kingfisher

Running is an activity that I miss doing these days. Picked up a book called Complete guide to running or something like that and I opened up the chapter on injuries. It says that after an injury you are supposed to start off like a beginner. As in, you are supposed to run for a minute and walk for a minute until your legs get used to it again. My initial thought was a "oh no!!" but now thinking about it, I think about the happiness when I discovered my feet could run for the first time 4 years ago. Not a bad deal at all but requires a lot of patience and persistence.

The weekend was great. I hung out with Meritxell and we did a movie, dinners, Bangalore's high flying life and mugs of beer together. She somehome manages to put a huge smile on my face but good things have to come to an end. She left for Delhi and then to Spain and I doubt if I will see her for the next two months atleast. Cooking can be really relaxing. We cooked some dal, potatoes, rice, raitha and ate it with some banana chips. Fantabulous

This week is going to be fitness week and starting this evening, I am going to begin a walk run schedule religiously for the next two weeks.

On a seperate note altogether, I think people who tear themselves apart using kitchen knives should be sent to mental asylums. They should surely not work in development.
