Chennai half, Fitness one and Women

After Phelps did what he was good at, they showed his diet on CNN IBN. The lunch diet included half a kg of pasta, some million eggs, sugar coated bread, two cups of coffee and some other stuff that had meat in it. Obviously, after watching Phelps, I was completely inspired to win 8 Olympic medals and I thought I will start with a humongous diet like his. Foolishness took over, and I ended up sleeping like a log until 8:30 am this morning that made me miss my run. Moral of the story – Phelps does things his way and ordinary mortals need to follow their own limited methods of training.

I joined fitness one and already feel good about the knee. I might do a slow half marathon next weekend in Chennai to start the season hopefully in style. My last half marathon in Chennai was a disaster due to a break-up but this time I have none of that with me. If anything, I have the satisfaction of meeting a girl (and separating from her) who can make me smile and who satisfies the ideal person I want to be with.

Work has been great until now. I am happy to work with a bunch of guys who are passionate about coding and developing software. I hear the word ‘boring….’ But atleast these folks are passionate about something. Mohan sent me his workout plan which seems a little hard for today but nevertheless, I think I’ll try and do it. It might end up in me limping to work tomorrow but what the hell…I need to know that my fitness mojo is working after such a long break.

Good luck with your diet and exercise plan. Aradrowser(whose blog no longer exists) sure is one inspiration when it comes to work outs and the right balanced kinda diet.
