I timed my 5k yesterday and was pretty bummed by the timing. I finished it in 24 minutes despite a lot of speed training over the last 2 weeks. I am going to timing it again exactly in 15 days.
My problem is that there are a few half marathons happening and I like to do my best in every race. The 5k training conflicts with the half marathon training even though the speed workouts are more intense. I keep looking at 5k training schedules and half marathon training schedules without being able to decide on what to choose.
A classic case of moving goal post but hey, I am still in the game!!
