The city saw its last marathon in 2006 which was badly organized. However, even if a run is badly organized it does not stop crazy folks like us from participating. Despite complaining about the badly organized marathon, I must confess that I got excited when I heard that the Chennai marathon may happen in Feb this year.
The word on the street is that it is being organized by the Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu (SDAT). Lets hope we get to know atleast in January to train for atleast one month.
