This was probably the highest turn-out that the chennai runners has ever had. We had 13 people run from the toll gate to the mahabs this sunday morning. To beat the heat and the traffic, we had to leave home at 3:45 am and reached the toll gate at approximately 4:45. The run started from Shahid's farmhouse and we got to see a few new runners in action. Virginia and Scott who I met two weeks ago at the hash were among them. Virginia is a seasoned runner with some amazing marathon timings - Boston (3:46) and Houston(3:34). She finished first - 17.5 miles in 2:45 minutes.
We hit the German bakery after the run and had a huge breakfast. Here are some of the pictures and a gps recording of the trail.
