Frame of Mind, 25km Run & Tirupathi

This week's frame of mind is exactly similar to feeling nervous before a marathon. You just can't sleep well, feel nervous every second you are awake and have absolutely no control over the end result. Even when you attempt to sleep, you are nervous about your alarm clock not going off. Such is the curse of running a successful marathon. I have been experiencing just the same over the last ten days outside the marathon scenario.

The running has taken a backseat after straining my groin again on a 25km run. It is just annoying when you want to run long and you are not able to run long. It just feels as though the devil is clamping your feet. Its important to get all the rest possible and break away from those shackles..Even though the importance of rest, it is hard to implement it sometimes.

I hope to come through alive from this stressful week. If that happens, I am off on a short religious trip to Tirupathi which has been a long overdue. I am not used to trouble God for unnecessary things. However, I always thank him when he gives me things that I REALLY want.

Hey Shumit,
I'm sure you'll get to go to Tirupathi and god will also very soon get you back to your feet and keep you injury-free. Hope all's well with you otherwise dude.

Run On!

Love and Regards,
