After a week of regular running, my knees told me that they need some beer and rest which is what they got on Sunday. The day was spent sipping on some brew at home and watching some mindless television. Of course, I was too tired to go for the yoga class on Monday morning. I also slept in this morning and skipped the run and the class. Sleeping in sounded more important since the dream was an extension of a conversation I had the previous night with a very pretty woman (feel too old for such a huge crush).
The idea is to get some yoga this evening and a 10k run tomorrow morning. I have also been telling myself that I need to join a gym to work on the weights but it is completely de-motivating. Gyms are depressing places with the trainers continuously focusing on muscle gain rather than overall athletic fitness. However, my idea of going to the gym will be limited to get two leg circuit trainings every week.
