Smart Cards, Climbing and Lockstock and Two Smoking Barrels

Jwala called to say that she overslept. It was a pleasure to hear that because I wanted to sleep for an additional 15 minutes. The run started at 7:00 am at a park where I spotted Jayashree (cousin) who was walking with some vengeance. We walked together for 400 meters and then she decided to walk back home. The park was crowded but I did a few laps of pace and a few laps to cool off alternatively that continued for about half hour. The distance could have been between 5-5.8k. Thoughts during the run were highly vague about the misplaced t.v. remote last night, benefits of smart cards and climbing. A comfortable run without too much pain distractions.

Definitely miss climbing with safe climbers but the word on the street is that Turahalli (an hour from Bangalore) is the Mecca of climbers around this zone. Apparently, Bangalore boasts of some of India’s best climbers and they normally win in almost all the competitions. Luckily, met a few of them in Kodai and there is a small chance that I might wander to Turahalli this Sunday. There is tons of stuff happening in town though – A caving trip, A two day trek, a school friend’s party etc. Partying might have to wait though especially after beer binging last weekend.

We laughed our asses off while watching Lockstock and Two Smoking Barrels. Brilliant dialogues and a great movie. Wonder how I missed that?
