This morning’s run was around Ulsoor again and the goal was a 5k run in 30 minutes. Jwala rode there in her brand new trek that was a wedding gift to her from her sister-in-law. I really fancy these bikes and recently have been seeing too many of my friends riding it. Even our very own Gurujee rides the trek which I think is ultra cool. Anyone riding a bicycle in
Going back to the run, we did 3 miles/5k in about half hour and had a conversation almost all throughout. She gave me insights on her wedding that I missed because of the dengue and I told her how bad dengue was. She told me how awful chickenguniea …it seemed worse. For that matter any of this stuff including fever and cough is awful. The worst is a cold. It stays in your body and never leaves you. We watched people who were rowing in Ulsoor and I have decided that I’ll be rowing after the Sunfeast for a couple of months atleast.
The groin still hurts a little bit when I push the pace. I am planning to take it easy and stick to the distance rather than the speed. Speed can really make you hurt even more. The idea will be to build endurance this month and speed maybe next month. There was no yoga class today and I must admit that I missed it.
