Weekend, Telecommunications and Happiness

As I think about the weekend, I wish I could somehow have a machine to stop time. I can’t imagine or remember the last time I smiled and laughed so much. If you ask me what I did over the last 48 hours, the answer is nothing absolutely. We ate rice puffs, drank coffee, sipped beer and ate tons of spinach. We attempted to watch the tour but failed. We attempted to go dancing and hit the movies but failed again. The plan was to make pasta but that also failed. However, no regrets since the Spaniard made me laugh and giggle.

Back on track with the running. Did a 25 min posture oriented strong run and finished it off with pull ups, sit ups, abdomens and triceps. Freels great to be back on the road again.

The city is fantastic. The office is a walk 5 minute away from where I live. Most of the week was spent in Bahrain with a telecommunications company. If things go well, work should take me to Jordan and Yemen. India is where I would like to settle down eventually but this is the time to travel around the world and learn from working across the seas.

Anyways, going bac to the weekend I feel that good times are hard to come by and its important to capture and store them in a strong vault deep down in your heart. At one point, when we are talking about life and death, I felt that even if I died then, I would have been a happy man (dramatic Shumit Talking). To conclude, relationships that you know are not menat to last but you are in it for the happiness and experience are like sprints – exhilarating, fast and intense. The longish ones are like marathons- painful, grueling and in my case maybe bloody too…hahah !!!
