Training Update

The last four days of training has been pretty fulfilling. On saturday, I did a few minutes of running/walking while playing ultimate on the beach followed by one whole day's of rest. I relaxed at the beach in the evening, ate some pasta and corn and was ready for sunday mornings long run.

We set off at 3:45 am for a run on sunday and I was supposed to do a 30k. The goal was to complete it in 3 hours but I managed to finish it in 3:02. I was happy except for one part of the run where I thought my legs were giving in. Just when that was happening, I started to think about the huge breakfast ahead of me at MGM and needless to say, I was able to finish strong.

Monday I hit the gym twice to get a core workout along with chest and bi-ceps. I also stretched my legs like a cat, iced them for the 8k run today.

Woke up this morning and felt good. Had a few dates, drank a little bit of water and set out to run in boat club road with Hari and Vidyuth. The run was smooth, easy and helped me add a few more miles towards this week's distance.

Tomorrow's schedule is a mix of uphill and speed. I plan to eat right today, hydrate and go for the kill tomorrow. But before that I have two presentations to finish and shit loads of pending work to think about.
