Today's drill

My legs were tried of road running and so Vidyuth and I decided to do running ABC's on the beach. I was glad to realize that despite 6 km of running on the beach, I found it to be extremely easy. I guess the training has been kicking in.

I was out to donate blood this afternoon and I realized that my hemoglobin content is 12.1%. For a runner, the iron content should atleast be 15% especially if one wants to finish a marathon within 3 hours and 30 minutes. I have been gobbling one entire packet of grapes, had two apple juices and will be eating tons of spinach tonight to increase the iron content to 15%.

thanks for the pointers about hemoglobin content. Glad you guys are doing well. I have 2 more weeks for my mini marathon in chicago. I better eat healthier.
