Marredpelly Boyz Re-Union

I am really looking forward for my visit to Hyderabad this weekend. I went to school there and spent most of my childhood living in Secunderabad called Marredpelly. My childhood friends and I make it a point to meet up once in six months atleast to catch up and to make sure that we can still keep up conversations. However, I have noticed that the group has been dwindling over the years with most guys getting married or engaged.

The schedule is usually kept very simple – biriyani and beer, a movie, and maybe more beer and biriyani for dinner. We end up hanging out at Abhishek’s hotel ( Belsons Taj) and talk unlimited trash. The trips are usually very laid back and its just nice to know that your best buddies are still around and things haven’t changed all that much. Its also very surprising to go out to the ground where we spent a lot of time playing sports and recognize some known face….and its simply very nostalgic to see kids playing in the same playground and doing the same things that you had done a couple of years ago.
