A suicide shot

Last night the Runners club had a small get-together at an apartment in Mylapore. There was rum, vodka, beers, pizza and good music going on. Vidyuth came up with something called a suicide shot where he snorted some salt, had a shot of vodka and pierced some lime into his eye. This was nothing I heard or seen before. Anyone dares to do this ??
