7 Pints, GMAT and Europe

Its really a good feeling to start running again even if it means to run in the sweltering heat of Chennai. Mornings are spent studying and I am able to spend only about half hour every alternate day running but I think its better than not running at all right?

The diet, sleep and everything else is very much in control especially because I live with folks in Chennai because of the project. The only reason I get out is to grab a pint of beer which often transforms to 7 pints at the least. We in Chennai don’t drink to enjoy our drink. We drink to get drunk!!

I applied to one college in Italy and I think it will be a miracle if I make it. The essays have turned out well, the recommendation letters are great, work experience has been well presented but the GMAT scores just don’t seem to increase beyond a 600. It would be okay if I did not know the concepts genuinely but the fact is I am making so many silly mistakes that it is not even funny anymore. The next 20 days will be spent taking tests and reviewing them.

The dates have been booked for June 3rd and if things go well, I will be running and studying in Europe next year. To be honest, I CANNOT wait !!

So basically, answer one question before you think about the next. You're not a dumbass, so concentration's probably the only factor.

And- looking at your earlier post- if culture, language, and beer guzzling is what you want to get a hang of, Scotland and Germany would be my choices. Of course, those are the only countries I've been to(in Europe) :-)
