Mumbai, Ultimate and My thoughts on the run

Its normal to think a lot while you run but the problem is one cannot really remember what they exactly remember all the minute details. It is like me getting a drink. I don't remember much of what I say.

Over the last run, I was thinking about the Mumbai marathon and the strategy to crack the race. I feel like it is important to run at a constant pace and stick to the group as much as I can atleast till the 35th km. After that depending on the day, it is normal to slow down or increase your speed. The group has been training for about 4-5 times a week. Everyone has been running fairly long distances with a minimum distance of 10 km per training session. Sundays have been close to 25km – 30km at constant speed thus adding miles in the bank.

Weekend was a good mix of reading, studying, drinking and running. I call this a balanced lifestyle.

The plan is to add ultimate frisbee twice a week to the training schedule to make it a little more interesting. It will also be a fun way to work on my strides though there is a risk of injury.

Highly recommend this movie called traitor. Don Cheale has done a great job.
