Traditionally intervals, fartleks and hill workouts have been mantras to improve your speed. However, a few additional micro changes could help you run faster and stronger.
a) Get atleast 8-10 hours of speed during your training months.
b) Lose weight
c) Try not to wear gadgets, heavy shoes etc.
d) Avoid junk food
e) Avoid smoking and limit drinking (this one is difficult)
