Gurgaon, Strange Drill and Hyderabad Half Marathon

I got my first run in Gurgaon yesterday. Technically it was not really a run. There is a local stadium here with steps that overlook a synthetic floored hockey stadium. The steps were too tempting and I decided to do about half hour of steps instead of a full fledged run. The stadium also has a kabaddi field with beach sand in it. The steps were alternated with some sand running.

Post this strange drill, I hit the gym for about 20 minutes and then played a 11 point basketball game. The good thing about Gurgaon is that the sun is up until 7:30 pm.

Sunfeast was completed in 46 minutes and the cramps in my stomach continued during the run. Similar cramps were felt yesterday too on the right side of my stomach. Again for this month, the focus is going to be on developing my core muscles.

The next goal is to do the half marathon in Hyderabad on August 31 (tentative date). My best half marathon time is 1 hour 41 minutes and it will be nice if I could break into 1:37-1:39.

Dude... I am in for Hyderabad too and would be doing a half as against the planned full. I am trying to get to 2.10 there abouts! Training starts next week.

Does Aug31 Hyd race have both half and full marathons?. I was under the impression that the Hyd half was only in November and the Aug race is just the full.

Please confirm if possible

Thanks
