As I walked into the gym yesterday, I told Maghesh that I need a workout that will make me feel as though I have been rammed down by a train. And boy, was it a workout?
This was it –
25 pushups
25 lat pulldowns
25 chest press
25 reverse abdomens
1 km run in 5 min
15 pull ups
20 shoulder press
20 biceps
20 shoulder flies
1 km run in 5 min
25 lunges
25 squats
25 lunges
25 squats
1 km run in 5 minutes
25 full abs
25 upper abs
25 leg lifts
25 full body abs
1 km run in 5 minutes
25 push ups
25 lat pull downs
25 bench dips
1 km run in 5 minutes
This is probably my toughest circuit so far but I am just glad that my body is now conditioned to take it. A 5 km today and a 15 km tomorrow evening will help me do a 40 km this week and I hope I can get it done.

Hey Shumit,
Looks like a crossfit circuit man! Great going.
Try repeating the sets between runs. Changing the sets every time doesnt help the individual muscle groups much. You will at best stress them a bit and at worst strain them.
If muscles need to respond, they need to be over loaded - not just loaded.
Have fun.
