10ks are not Marathons

Someone called Nagraj writes when the race organizers in Indore name a 10k race as a marathon

"I think you are missing the point here. Yes, it is indeed a big deal.
In the context of long distance running, marathon is not just a word
or a name, it is a TITLE. You EARN it, by running 26.2 miles, not even
an inch less. And THAT IS PRECISELY why so many on this group feel
offended when it is used loosely to mean anything other than what it
should mean."

Lol...I've had someone say to me "I heard you ran a marathon...I did a 10K marathon too"...and I was like HUH??? :p
