Registration for the Newyork marathon is $210. They should have special developing country rates in the future. Its probably a great experience but I just cannot afford it.
I'll rather do a marathon in Asia this year and wait for a pay hike to do this race

Aww...that sux! You should consider doing it for a charity maybe - but that would involve doing some fundraising!
