Left work early on friday evening to catch a game of basketball. I decided that I will be at the peak of my aggressivenss and also told myself that I will only shoot by doing a lay-up. No two pointer shots whatsoever. I picked on one dude who was guarding me, made him run, never let him shoot and fouled him several times. The guy was simply bigger than me and I needed to foul him to scare the shit out of him. He came after me too and we ended up fighting. Luckily, he was pulled away before I planted a punch on his fat face. I told him something like "this is my house!!!" and asked him to "get the F out of Nehru park". He stopped playing.
Spent most of my weekend indoors reading Murakami's Kafka on the Shore. Murakami writes about Kafka using Circuit Training to develop his strength and I wonder if the author himself has been using circuits to train for the marathons. I can't stop raving about the author but do pick up any of his fiction books - Kafka on the Shore, Norweigian Wood, Wind Up Bird Chronicle and they are all very enjoyable.
Sunday evening was spent with Marko, Pranathi and her brother Aditya at Pranati's place. We just chilled, shot the shit around, spoke about life in high school and drank some slice. I can usually handle violence. Infact, I love violent movies. But, I watched this one called "rise of a Foot Soldier" which is a story of a British hooligan and its makes you puke. Dare yourself to watch it if you get a chance.
Very little running this weekend. The last time I ran was on Thursday. The goal for this week is 70 kms and I hope I can pull that off.
