Trainer

As a part of my preprations for the NY marathon next year, I have hired a trainer to help me improve my running technique and make my strides more efficient. Jagdeesh, is a national level 100 mts sprinter who clocked 10:70. He seems to know a lot about running and is planning a work-out schedule based on my physical condition, current speed and endurance levels. The training will involve beach running, hill running, conditioning and long slow distance running.

Over the last two years, I trained on my own and made several mistakes. This year I hope to correct all of that and plan to clock atleast 100km/week during season time without injury. This will entail high degree of quality running during the off-season which begins in January.
