Sunday's 33k run

Mohan and I began running at 4:36 am when it was slightly drizzling. The run started out really smooth and we picked up some speed from 10-20k. We cut back on speed after that and ran at a steady pace for the rest of our journey until we hit the 30k mark. I thought I will stop there since I was mentally prepared for that distance but after a minute of walking I decided to do another 3km. I guess the break helped and I was able to finish the last 3k at an increased pace completing the 33k run in 2 hours 59 minutes. Mohan completed 20 seconds behind me.

After the run, I had pongal, idly, vada and some good kumbakonam coffee which helped me regain my lost calories. This was followed by a two hour snooze and a huge carb loaded lunch which comprised of thair satham followed by more sleep.

The singapore marathon is just 40 days away and I am really excited to run it. After yesterdays run, I am quite confident that I can finish the run in sub 4 hours if the weather is good and if i dont get injured
