Twice a day

I have been trying experimenting with working out over the last few days. A part of the experiment is to run twice a day - early morning and late evening. The morning run will be a speed and a hard run focusing on high speed over a long distance typically between 8-10 k. The evening run will be a 5 k run at a speed of 10kmh. I was successful in doing this for the first two days but my body would not function in the morning after the easy evening run for the last three days. Does anyone know how to build up your endurance to the point where you can run swiftly twice a day for about 5 days a week atleast.

In other news, I have shaved my head to help me get through the chennai heat while I run. It is a lot more comfortable to run with a shaven head and I love it when sweat drips down on the treadmill. I also lap off some of the sweat if I am too thirst during the run...hahah !!!! No, I was just kidding... I have not lost my head yet.

You could pass off now as one of those shaolin monks.. but for the headband and outfit :)))

Last year when I was training for the Ragnar Relay I ran into a training program that involved multiple runs in the day, but that was training for a completely different animal! Don't over train before the race, that is one of the most common reasons for injury.
