The run this morning was fun. We had about 6 kids from the Egmore housing board running with us. These kids are mainly basketball players who play for a local basketball team. 8 + of the Chennai runners showed up and we did a 5k in about half hour. This was my first real run after the Bangalore midnight marathon and it was good to pound the track once again.
On my way back, Partiban, the local cop caught me for not wearing a helmet. I was fined by for not wearing a helmet as well as not having a license. I believe in wearing a helmet but I left it over at a friends place. But I really do not believe in getting the license. This is the third time that Partiban has got me in the last three months but I find it allright to pay him rather than to pay some corrupt official who issues license. After all Partiban is the one who is affected by all the pollution (he stands by the traffic signal all day). However, due to pressure from folks, I will be getting a license in the next week.
In other news, I will be going to Bangalore for the aerosmith concert. I have listened to very minimal aerosmith and I have no idea why I am spending so much money on the concert. I know its peer pressure from the dragon but I hate to admit that cos I am too old for pressure from friends.
