The New Fitness Diet

Though I have been running for about a year now, I am unable to increase my speed above 11 kmh. Apart from my speed not increasing, I have also been losing approximately 1 k.g. per month. A friend of mine convinced me to call fitness one ( a bloody expensive gym in Chennai !!) and advised me to enrol in their peak performance program.

The gym has several good local athelets coaching there and one of them is working with me to increase and sustain my speed at 13 kmh for about three hours. This will help me finish the marathon in about three hours and fifteen minutes if I pull it off. A part of the program is also a new diet regimen and it goes something like this

6:00 AM - A huge glass of milk and an apple
6:00 AM -8:00 AM - Run and work - out
8:30 - Rice or Pongal
10:00 - One banana and an orange
11:00 - sprouts and spinach
1:00 - Three course lunch
3:00 - One banana and an orange
5:00 - a small snack
8:00 - Three course meal again
9:00 - one glass of milk


Though alcholol is not allowed, it has just become impossible for me to stop my weekly beer. I try to limit it but I do tend to go a bit off limits at times. I hope to pull it off this season with no injuries and we are planning to do four marathons ( Delhi, Bangalore, Singapore and Chennai of course!!) in about five months.

The challenge will to be to finish all the four runs and not lose any weight. With the most amazing training schedule and with the food most people can't handle, I don't see any reason for not making it.

Good to hear from you. No, I don't really share it with Zeeeee !!! I dont think Zeeeee would do anything other than his favorite dish...guess you know what that is.
